Art Space X는 2026년 7월 28일(화)부터 8월 14일(금)까지 《한·인도 교류전》을 선보입니다. 이번 전시는 서로 다른 역사와 문화적 배경을 지닌 한국과 인도 작가들의 작품을 통해 양국 간 예술적 교류의 가능성과 동시대적 감각을 조망하고자 마련되었습니다.

참여 작가들은 각자의 문화적 토양에서 형성된 조형 언어를 바탕으로 회화를 중심으로 한 다양한 작업을 선보입니다. 전통과 현대, 지역성과 세계성이 교차하는 지점에서 형성된 작업들은 서로 다른 시선과 감각을 드러내면서도, 예술이라는 공통의 언어를 통해 새로운 관계와 대화를 만들어냅니다.

한국 작가 박능생, 신하순, 이만수, 이민주, 하연수, 하태임과 인도 작가 Hemraj, Kalicharan Gupta, Niren Sen Gupta, Rashmi Khurana는 각기 다른 문화적 경험과 예술적 접근 방식을 바탕으로 세계를 해석합니다. 자연과 기억, 색채와 물질, 시간과 공간에 대한 탐구는 서로 다른 형식으로 전개되지만, 작품들 사이에는 문화적 경계를 넘어서는 공감과 연결의 가능성이 흐르고 있습니다.

본 전시는 단순한 국가 간 교류를 넘어 예술을 매개로 한 상호 이해와 소통의 장을 제안합니다. 작품들 사이에 형성되는 차이와 공명은 하나의 결론으로 수렴되지 않고 열린 구조로 남아 관람자 각자의 경험 속에서 새롭게 확장됩니다. 이를 통해 예술이 서로 다른 문화와 시대를 연결하며 지속적인 교류와 공존의 가능성을 만들어가는 과정을 함께 살펴보고자 합니다.

Art Space X is pleased to present Korea–India Exchange Exhibition, on view from July 28 to August 14, 2026. Bringing together artists from Korea and India, the exhibition explores the possibilities of artistic exchange and contemporary dialogue between two cultures shaped by distinct histories and traditions.

The participating artists present a diverse range of painting practices shaped by their respective cultural backgrounds. Situated at the intersection of tradition and modernity, locality and globality, their works reveal unique perspectives while creating new connections through the shared language of art.

Featuring Korean artists Park Neung Saeng, Shin Ha Soon, Lee Man Soo, Lee Min Joo, Ha Yeon Soo, and Ha Tae Im, alongside Indian artists Hemraj, Kalicharan Gupta, Niren Sen Gupta, and Rashmi Khurana, the exhibition presents a wide range of artistic approaches and interpretations of the world. While each artist engages with themes such as nature, memory, color, materiality, time, and space in distinct ways, subtle resonances emerge across the exhibition, suggesting possibilities for connection beyond cultural boundaries.

Rather than serving merely as a platform for international exchange, the exhibition seeks to foster mutual understanding and dialogue through art. The differences and affinities that unfold between the works remain open-ended, inviting viewers to form their own interpretations and experiences. Through these encounters, the exhibition reflects on how art can connect cultures across distance and time, creating enduring possibilities for exchange, coexistence, and shared understanding.
